unknowns

It’s like complaining about not knowing what the puzzle will look like when you’ve never done the puzzle before; but you can’t know until you start doing it. Of course you don’t know! It’s new! You’re literally bringing the image into existence as you go, piece by piece. With each new piece, the focus gets a little clearer, and you gain more clues. You don’t get those before starting.

But you CAN do this. It’s going to be beautiful. You just need to build it.

Always the crucial, applicable, freeing advice: just keep taking one step at a time, even when they’re as tiny as possible. The only way out is through. No jumping ship here, no disappearing act, no numbing out… you can stay, really stay in your present life. You can come alive and keep putting the pieces together and enjoy the wonder-filled journey.

You are drawing your map as you go. No need to know what it looks like just yet, just know you’ve brought yourself this far, and you can trust yourself to get you all the way there. You are going somewhere grand.
